History of Simmons Insurance
1978 - Mr. Simmons purchased the Central DuPage Insurance Agency located in West Chicago, Illinois.
1980 - Simmons Insurance acquired Sloggett Insurance Agency in Batavia, Illinois.
1988 - Believing that a change in location was necessary, the agency office was moved from West Chicago to a main street location in St. Charles.
2000 - Looking for a new home, Mr. Simmons decided to purchase the historic Samuel W. Durant house. The house itself was in dire need of renovation after several months work it was ready for agency operations.
